I have been so much more careful setting this Mac up. Now I can get any of my current sessions from Bitwig, S1, anything, including important plugin presets, samples.on any machine. Now I just have the projects I am working on sync'd to my machine, others in the cloud. Got rid of my dropbox sub and got 2tb of iCloud. I basically put my documents folder in iCloud and couldn't be happier. Chronosync might be the best option I have seen so far. I don't want to sync the whole drive to the Macbook, just a folder on the external would do. I use iCloud for desktop and documents, but my audio projects are on an external drive hooked up to my main machine. I am also trying to figure out a strategy for keeping things synced between the Macbook and my main Machine. I wouldn't even know it was running under emulation. I installed Pro Tools no trouble on to the MBP, and it is running fine. ARA and Mixer Scenes a la S1 would be a great addition, as well as Copy and Paste entire channel settings. Don't get that myself, very cool feature. 100% on Pro Tools needing ARA! Some PT people here and especially at DUC baulk at the idea of having ARA for Pro Tools.
