I am grateful for the opportunity to play music with Red River Worship and to participate with all of you in singing and experiencing God through music. Red River Valley Bible Camp is located at County Rd 42500 in Paris, Texas 75462. RRFE will be hosting our 12 Bible Lands Tour October 17-November 1, 2022.

After college I played with the band EyeWitness for just about a decade, leading music at synod youth gatherings, church events, youth nights, and camp gigs. We look forward to seeing you at the next Encampment in Red River, New Mexico June 25-28, 2022.

During that time, bands like Jars of Clay, Caedmon’s Call, and Third Day were very popular, and influenced me a great deal. As a youngster my family lived across the street from Vinje Lutheran in Willmar MN, where we often played on Sunday mornings our perspective instruments, mine was trombone! In time, I picked up a few more instruments and in college I was able to lead worship during the summer months at Camp Emmaus. My love for music was passed down to me and my siblings from our parents, especially my mom, who is a violin instructor. My wife and two daughters attend Good Shepherd Lutheran, where this band was born. My name is Josh, and I have the good fortune of playing bass guitar in Red River Worship. Hello, and thank you for visiting our website. I am humbled to be a part of the powerful worship experience that we provide through our music. Being a part of this group has enhanced my spiritual life. I look forward to every single rehearsal and performance with this fine group of musicians. It is truly a blessing to be surrounded by the talented musicians in Red River Worship. My musical tastes include The Eagles, Brook & Dunn, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, REM, Rush, Garth Books, Journey, Imagine Dragons, Matchbox Twenty, Train, Goo Goo Dolls, James Taylor, Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, Rend Collective, etc… We all enjoy going to live concerts and musicals of many varieties. So get ready for the most impactful and fun week of your summer RRVHC allows campers to fall deeper in love with God while making lifelong friendships along the way. My wife is an amazing flautist and a band director. I am currently playing with The Good Shepherd Worship Band and Red River Worship. The bands I have played in the past are The Bends, The Moe’s, The Sugar Beats, Haywire and Avalanche. I have played in working bands since my junior year of high school.

I was introduced to the full drum set as a member of the 8th grade stage band and fell in love with playing the drum set immediately. To say it another way, we are changing our world one life at a time by making and growing disciples of Christ through Christian camping. I started playing drums in the 6th grade band. OUR MISSION: Red Rock Bible Camp exists to provide Christ Centered discipleship. I have been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Moorhead since I was 3 years old. I live in Moorhead, MN with my wife and two sons.
